My Beetle
If you don't know anything about Beetles then you may be wondering why I created this page. Well the fact is that there are so many variations and modifications that can be made to these beasties, that simply stating the model and year tells you almost nothing. So here's what I know about my bug:
General
She's a 1969 Beetle and was originally orange.
Chassis & Suspension
Chassis number is 1102247711.
She's been lowered and has Sway-A-Way adjusters on the front beam with KYB GR2 dampers.
Engine
I don't know what the original engine was but she currently has a 1500cc single port RemTec engine (B5581H 365085).

Wheels
MWS eight-spoke alloys about which the March 1995 copy of VolksWorld magazine says:
"These four-stud, eight-spokes are manufactured in Britain by Midland Wheel Supplies. The eight-spoke has to be the best-selling, most-copied, VW wheel ever!"
Brakes
Discs on the front and drums on the back.
